Privacy notice

We designed the calculators to work in your browser. This notice explains the information the site may process when you use its tools or ask to be contacted.

Calculator information

Information entered into the calculators is calculated locally in your browser. We do not ask you to upload passports, visas, travel evidence or application forms, and the calculator is not designed to send the answers you enter to us. Your browser may retain information locally while you use the site; you can clear site data through your browser settings. Avoid entering unnecessary personal details in any free-text field.

Because an immigration history can be sensitive, do not treat a general website calculator as a secure document store. Keep your own records and use official application channels for an application.

Requests to be contacted

If you submit the contact widget, we store the name, email address, optional phone number, selected ILR route and timeframe, optional short message, page you submitted from, consent record and notification status in a dedicated Cloudflare D1 database. A hash of the connecting IP address is used to limit repeated submissions; the raw address is not stored in that database. We email the request details from contact@ilrcalculator.uk to our nominated contact at sk@yummi.fun so a partner agency can get in touch about your request. We use them for that request and to resolve delivery problems, not for a newsletter or an immigration decision.

Only submit details you are comfortable sharing for this purpose. Do not include passport numbers, visa documents or a full travel history. Submitting a request does not create an adviser-client relationship or guarantee that an agency will accept a case. You can ask us about the request or the information held by using the contact page. We retain requests only while needed to handle the contact and related follow-up.

Analytics and third parties

Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics load by default to measure aggregated page use and site performance. Calculator answers and contact form fields are not sent as analytics events. Google Analytics is enabled for all visitors and may use analytics and advertising cookies or identifiers. Analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalisation, Google Signals and advertising personalisation signals are enabled by default. Cloudflare’s production beacon may be provided through the site’s Cloudflare service; a configured preview may load the Cloudflare beacon directly.

These services can process technical information such as the page viewed, time, browser and device information, referrer, consent state and approximate location derived from network data. We use this only to understand aggregate site use and improve the service. We do not use calculator inputs or contact requests to build advertising audiences and do not sell personal information. Browser privacy controls, content blockers and Google’s available controls may prevent these requests. Google and Cloudflare process technical data under their own terms and notices.

UK data-protection information

UK data-protection law, including the UK GDPR, may give people rights in relation to their personal data, such as asking about access, correction, erasure, restriction or objection where those rights apply. The availability and scope of a request depend on the circumstances and applicable law. To make a privacy request or ask how this notice applies, contact us through the contact page; do not include passports, visa documents or a full travel history in a first message.

This notice does not claim an office address, registration status or a data-protection representative that the site has not published. If you are unhappy with how personal data is handled, you may have the right to raise the matter with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office; its UK GDPR guidance explains the framework.

Contact messages and retention

If you contact us by email or a mailto link, your email provider and ours will process the information you choose to send, including your address and message. Please do not send passport numbers, full travel histories or other sensitive documents. We use correspondence only to respond, improve the site or deal with a correction request, and retain it only as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose.
